  I enjoy the benefits of being a member with Bank of America. However, my recent experience dealing with Katie (manager) and John (manager), was very unpleasant. Due to my name, it was assumed that I was a female, and John made it impossible to pass any security measures on that assumption. After verifying my SSN, Telephone number, Home address and DOB, John continued to have me verify more information. Normally when I call in to get information on my account, I verify certain verification requirements, but due to John not believing who I was , he was rude in the process and continued to make sure I wouldn't get into my account. After dealing with him, I was transferred to Katie, who continued asking for information that I never verified before to get into my account. Last, I was asked to provide information for my Drivers License. I didn't remember this, so I asked for a different security identifier, which is normally the process if you can't identify 1 of the 7 security questions asked. After I walked to my car to get my drivers license and being frustrated, Katie hung up on me. After looking at other reviews, I would hope that corporate would review the these complaints and follow up to make sure customers won't have to deal with these type of incidents in the future.

  I came in with ~$5 in coins to convert to bills. The teller was snippy and refused to count it, because God forbid a bank counts money without a coin counting machine. Her attitude was so unnecessary and when I tried to call later to tell a manager no one picked up--multiple times. Don't waste your energy.

  Had $500 cash stolen from an envelope I misplaced at the bank. Obviously the guy in line behind me either picked it out of my purse or from the counter. Told a manager and she acted like she didn't believe me and was rude. The police said the a supervisor viewed the tape and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but their cameras are aimed to protect the bank from tellers stealing, not the customers' belongings. I guess it just vanished! Do not bank here or bank at your own risk.
